On behalf of the St. John's Hospice Group, I would like to thank you for supporting the 2009 Friends of Betty Schildroth Hospice Memorial Golf Tournament! The Four Man Scramble will take place at the The Golf Club Of Florissant on Saturday July 11, 2009.
Experience for yourself the fun and excitement this event generates. You will have the satisfaction of knowing that your support is making a difference in the lives of Hospice patients and their families in our community.
The entry fee is $400 per foursome and includes the following; 12:00 Lunch followed by 18 holes of Golf (1:00 pm shotgun), and a "very nice" steak dinner / awards ceremony Saturday evening (6:00pm).
The proceeds from the Golf Tournament and Auction provide revenue for St. John's Hospice to use in their work with individuals and families dealing with end-of-life illnesses. St. John's Mercy Hospice provides services to more than 1,140 patients and their families each year. Patients come from across St. Louis City and 13 surrounding counties. No individual is denied Hospice care regardless of their age, race, gender, creed, physical condition or ability to pay for services. Families who are uninsured or underinsured can take comfort in the fact that hospice services are available to them.
If you would like to participate, you can purchase a foursome by following the instructions on this website. To date we have raised over $95,000 for St. John's Hospice. Please continue as our partner in supporting this very worthwhile cause.
A silent and oral auction will also take place Saturday evening. Cash or checks only for auction items - all items must be paid for the night of the auctions!. All attendees will receive lunch, beverages all day, a complimentary bag of gifts, 18 holes of golf with a cart and a steak dinner! All the usual extras will be available. If you are interested in getting involved this year, please contact Keith Schildroth as soon as possible, the tournament is filling up faster than ever, so be sure and get your money in - first come first serve.
